ABOUT
WINTUR
Singer/Songwriter/Producer currently living in Boston finishing up his studies at Berklee College of Music
Wintur is an embodiment of queer expression and emotional depth, a vision he has carried since childhood but was stifled by societal pressures to conform. His journey took a transformative turn when he enrolled at Berklee College of Music in 2021, marking the beginning of him breaking free from those constraints. At Berklee, Wintur fearlessly explored expressions of femininity and challenged traditional notions of gender through his fashion. Immersed in a diverse musical environment, he delved into genres spanning from jazz to blues to R&B, ultimately discovering his authentic voice in indie rock and alt-pop. Inspired by renowned songwriting teachers such as Pat Pattison, Paula Cole, Peter Eldridge, and Michael Wrtofsky. Wintur poured his heart into crafting a collection of songs reflecting his experiences. Living in Boston, he navigated the complexities of love and heartbreak, channeling these emotions into an album titled "Glass Kitchen." Each track tells a poignant story, capturing the journey from love's inception to its bittersweet conclusion. His forthcoming single, "Bye," set for release on April 26th, offers a glimpse into the raw vulnerability and introspection woven throughout the album. With his unique blend of evocative lyricism and captivating melodies, Wintur invites listeners into his world, where every song is a testament to the resilience of hope amidst the trials of love.
